Ausnahmslos bietet die deutsche Publikation Auto Bild jedes Jahr den umfassendsten Überblick über den Sommerreifenmarkt, indem sie eine große Anzahl von Reifen auf trockener und nasser Fahrbahn testet, um herauszufinden, welche zwanzig Reifen es verdienen in ihrem vollständigen Sommerreifentest getestet.
Für 2022 hat Auto Bild 50 Reifen in der beliebtesten Reifengröße in Europa, 215/55 R17, getestet.
Die Nass- und Trockenbremsergebnisse aller 50 Reifensätze sind unten aufgeführt, wobei die kürzesten 21 (zum Glück für Continental) kombinierten Bremswege zum vollständigen Test führen, der in Kürze auf der Website verfügbar sein wird.
Die eher ungewöhnliche Reifengröße hat zu einigen interessanten Ergebnissen geführt, wobei Nokian den Spitzenplatz beim Trockenbremsen belegte und der neue Kumho Ecsta HS52 und Hankook Ventus Prime 4 auf den Plätzen zwei und drei landeten.
Nasses Bremsen hatte den üblichen Bridgestone Turanza T005 an der Spitze, wobei Nexen ebenfalls eine gute Leistung erbrachte.
Andere erwähnenswerte Leistungen: Der Uniroyal RainSport 5 kämpfte bei Nässe, was für einen „Regenreifen“ ungewöhnlich ist, und Goodride schaffte es aufgrund seiner Leistung in die Top 20!
