Der Auto Bild Sports Car UHP Winter Tire Test 2022 hat neun beliebte Performance-Winterreifen in der großen Größe 245/40 R19 mit einem Cupra Formenta getestet.
Trocken
Wie üblich war der Referenz-Sommerreifen der beste im Trockenen, aber es scheint, dass der Sommerreifen bei diesen größeren Reifengrößen einen größeren Vorsprung als üblich hat und das Auto fast 5 Meter kürzer anhält als der beste Winterreifen, der Budget-Minerva IcePlus S210. Zwischen dem besten und dem schlechtesten Winterreifen lagen 2,1 Meter Abstand.
Der Sommerreifen behielt beim Trockenhandling-Test die Nase vorn, wobei der Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 der beste Winterreifen war.
Nass
Der Vorteil der Sommerreifen blieb während des Nassbremstests bestehen und führte den Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 um 3,1 Meter an.
Das Nasshandling wurde vom Vredestein Wintrac Pro angeführt, einem Reifen, der bei den Nasshandlingtests normalerweise gut abschneidet.
Aquaplaning wurde erneut vom Sommerreifen angeführt.
Schnee
Natürlich konnte der Sommerreifen bei keinem der Schneetests mithalten. Der Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 führte beim Bremsen auf Schnee, dicht gefolgt vom Bridgestone Blizzak LM005.

Die Schneetraktionstests wurden ebenfalls von Michelin geleitet.
Der Pilot Alpin 5 rundete die "beste Leistung im Schnee" ab und war auch der schnellste im Umgang mit Schnee.
Umfeld
Der Cooper Discoverer Winter hatte im Test das niedrigste Außengeräusch.
Den geringsten Rollwiderstand hatte der Continental WinterContact TS870P.
Wie zu erwarten war, waren Michelin und Continental die teuersten Reifen im Test.
